Premiile Critics Choice Awards sunt acordate peliculelor care au reusit sa obtina cele mai mari realizari in domeniul cinematografiei in anul curent.
Acum, in decembrie, au fost anuntati cei care au reusit sa fie castige aceste premii, la diferitele categorii. Ceremonia a fost mutata din ianuarie, atunci cand se tinea in mod obisnuit, in decembrie. Peliculele nominalizate si cele castigatoare la Critics Choice Awards sunt, de asemenea, si favorite pentru castigarea diverselor categorii de Premii Oscar.
Filmul care a primit cele mai multe nominalizari anul acesta a fost „La la Land', pelicula musical in care joaca Emma Stone si Ryan Gosling.
